Make a photo under 500 KB on iPhone

A portal’s 500 KB limit means the finished file must contain no more than 500,000 bytes. UploadFit measures the actual encoded output.

Do it in five steps

  1. Open UploadFit and choose the photo.
  2. Select the Under 500 KB preset, or enter 500 KB as a custom limit.
  3. Frame the crop. Choose Prioritize acceptance for a difficult source.
  4. Create the verified preview and confirm File size shows a green pass.
  5. Export to Files, Photos, clipboard, or the system share sheet.

Good to know

If exact dimensions are also required, enter them before previewing. UploadFit will compress more aggressively before reporting that the rules conflict.
